Mike" Nesbitt, 62, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, at his home.Born on Dec. 28, 1955, in Lee County, he was a son of the late Hughie and Jessie Barfield Nesbitt. He was a member of Elliott Baptist Church. Mike was the former owner and operator of Nesbitt's Grocery in Elliott and retired from the S.C. Department of Transportation.Survivors include an aunt, Mollie N. Moore; an uncle, Calbert Johnson; cousins, Susie Chavis, Andy Caughman and Bill Johnson, all of Bishopville; and a lifelong friend, Ricky Christmas of Sumter.He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Nesbitt.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at St. Luke Cemetery with the Rev.
